2005-2023

I grew up in Myanmar and attended the International School of Yangon. My parents were quite strict, often hiring personal tutors to help me stay ahead academically. Most of my days were filled with classes and tutoring sessions, but I always made time for football — I was part of the school team and loved the competitive spirit it brought. Outside of school, I was deeply passionate about music, often learning songs on my guitar and playing with my dad and uncle. My favorite game was Minecraft, which sparked my fascination with creativity and building. Looking back, I've always been drawn to things that let me create, design, and bring ideas to life.

2023 - Present

My passion for creating art never faded — it simply evolved. I discovered a new medium for it in computer science. That pursuit led me to take a long flight from Myanmar all the way to Philadelphia, where I'm now studying Computer Science at Temple University. At Temple, I've met many inspiring people who have influenced the way I think and create.

Around that time, I took the initiative to start LiveMap, a community-driven navigation app I'm building with a friend. I've also been helping grow my family restaurant, learning how to balance my studies with real-world experience in business and technology.

What I've Learned Along The Way

The value of Consistency - showing up day after day, even when it's hard.

Collaboration is a skill - working with others isn't just about sharing tasks; it's about listening, adapting, and learning how to bring out the best in a team.

Initiative matters the most - taking the first step, even when no one asks you to, is what sparks motivation in the team.

Balance is very important - stability makes you push harder and longer than most people. My definition of stability is having a strict routine.
